When it comes to pollution, the textile industry is one of the biggest culprits. Here at Kendu, we believe that our industry and sustainability can – and should – go hand in hand. That’s why we have adapted our manufacturing and sustainable printing processes, implementing the necessary changes to help us achieve this goal.

Kendu embraces change, seeing it as an exciting step on the road to making our sustainable goals a reality. All of our developments strictly adhere to ESG criteria, thus minimising our emissions. Do you want to find out more about our new sustainable sublimation printing method?

How does sublimation work?

Sublimation printing works by applying heat with an iron. The high temperature causes the sublimation ink to switch from a solid to a gaseous state. This is how the design, printed on sublimation paper, is transferred onto the surface of the textile.

This method allows us to slash the CO2 emitted during the printing process, minimise the waste that Kendu generates and reduce pollution as much as possible.

Same quality, more sustainable

At Kendu, we work to ensure that all of our sustainable upgrades do not alter the final product. Kendu’s dye sublimation printing maintains the highest print quality, offering a wide colour range with just the right amount of shine.

Taking personal care of each and every one of our clients is our top priority. That means caring for our planet and looking after it as much as possible while also continuing to offer the best product on the market and providing a service that is fully tailored to your needs. More sustainability with better results

Sublimation printing has a number of advantages that have turned it into our primary printing method. As well as consuming less ink and reducing pollution levels, it allows us to offer a better service to our customers.

It is a highly accurate method that greatly reduces the number of printing incidents. In addition, sublimation does not produce the strong odour associated with other types of printing. Furthermore, once our design has been printed onto the chosen textile, the ink does not come off or stick together when folded for delivery.
